Quranic Contradictions--for somalisizz

Postby dhuusa_deer » Sun Sep 04, 2005 7:58 pm

This is for somalisizz only, so the rest of can butt out Evil or Very Mad

What came first: heaven or earth?

Al Qur’an 041.009-011
Say (O Muhammad, unto the idolaters): Disbelieve ye verily in Him Who created the earth in two Days, and ascribe ye unto Him rivals? He (and none else) is the Lord of the Worlds.

He placed therein firm hills rising above it, and blessed it and measured therein its sustenance in four Days, alike for (all) who ask;

Then turned He to the heaven when it was smoke, and said unto it and unto the earth: Come both of you, willingly or loth. They said: We come, obedient.

Same thing said also in:

Al Qur’an 002.029
He it is Who created for you all that is in the earth. Then turned He to the heaven, and fashioned it as seven heavens. And He is knower of all things.

But a contradiction:

Al Qur’an 079.027-30
Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built?

He raised the height thereof and ordered it;

And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof.

And after that He spread the earth,

>>So somalisizz, as you can see there is clear contradiction in the quran Shocked

Allah can't get his story right. So is this mean the quran is altered like the bibble, the book full of contradictions Surprised Confused

bissmeAllah w salato w salamo cala Rasool Allah

What translation of the Quran do you have?

There is no contradiction in the Quran and you have failed to prove that As there is no error in Allah’s Quran as it well protected from it >>

Suratul naziât verse 27- Are you more difficult to create or is the heaven that he constructed.
28- He raised its height, and has perfected it. 29- Its night He covers it with darkness and its forenoon He brings out (with light) 30- And After that he spread the earth.

Saratul Baqarah verse 29. He it is Who created for you all that is on earth. Then he rose over (istawâ) towards the heavens and made them seven heavens and He is the All-knower of everything.

Saratul Fussilat verse (9-11) 9- Say (O Muhammad Sal Allahu calahy w salam) “Do you verily disbelieve in Him Who created the earth in two days? And you set up rivals (in worship) with Him? That is the Lord of the Âlamîn (mankind jinn and all that exists).
10- He placed therein (i.e. the earth) firm mountains from above it, and He blessed it, and measured it therein its sustains (for its dwellers) in four Days equal (i.e. all these four days were equal in the length of time) for all those who ask (about its creation)

11- Then He rose over (istawâ) towards th heavens When it was smoke, and said to it and to the earth “come both of you willingly or unwillingly.” They both said “We come willingly.”

Surah Al-Mulk verse 3 -Who has created the seven heavens one above another; you can see no fault in the creation Of the Most Gracious. The look again: “Can you see any rifts?”

This is the translation of Yusuf Ali it’s the number one English translation lets keep in mind that the Quran in in Arabic and the correct way to learn it and understand it is by learning it as Allah ordered us to learn and memorize in ARABIC in the English translation give us a very limited translation of the QURAN al kareem.. Arabic grammar is not the same as English it’s deeper completed complex hard for any non-Arabic speaking to comprehend..

Allah caza w jal has challenged the disbeliveers to find contradiction and error in the Quran over 1400 years and you are not the only one who failed and surely not the last one until the day of resurrection you all kaafirs will fail .. Very Happy

Somalisizz,

please deal with the question I asked not copy&paste some BS article.

The contradiction I was refering touches on whether it was the heavens that was created first or the earth. The first two surah in my post, allah says the earth was created first. The last surah says the heavens were created first.

So which is it. The heavens first or earth first?

DD what are you on about?? You wanted to hear my opinion or what the Quran said I can tell you right now my opinion is what Allah tells us in the Quran Al karem ..

About how Allah created the heaven and earth: Qal Allah,

"Do not the Unbelievers see That the heavens and the earth Were joined together (as one Unit of Creation), before We clove them asunder?" [Al-Quraan 21:30]

The striking congruence between the Quraanic verse and the Big Bang is inescapable! How could a book, which first appeared in the deserts of Arabia 1400 years ago, contain this profound scientific truth?

THERE WAS AN INITIAL GASEOUS MASS BEFORE THE CREATION OF GALAXIES

"Moreover, He Comprehended In His design the sky, And it had been (as) smoke: He said to it And to the earth: Come ye together, Willingly or unwillingly. They said: We do come (Together), in willing obedience." [Al-Quraan 41:11]

"Seest thou not that Allah merges Night into Day And He merges Day into Night?" [Al-Quraan 31:29]

"He created the heavens And the earth In true (proportions): He makes the Night Overlap the Day, and the Day Overlap the Night." [Al-Quraan 39:5]

"And the earth, moreover, Hath He made egg shaped." [Al-Quraan 79:30] [The Arabic word dahaha has been translated by A. Yusuf Ali as "vast expanse", which also is correct. The word dahaha also means an ostrich-egg.]
The Arabic word for egg here is dahaha, which means an ostrich-egg. The shape of an ostrich-egg resembles the geo-spherical shape of the earth. Thus the Quraan correctly describes the shape of the earth, though the prevalent notion when the Quraan was revealed was that the earth is flat.

THE LIGHT OF THE MOON IS REFLECTED LIGHT
It was believed by earlier civilizations that the moon emanates its own light. Science now tells us that the light of the moon is reflected light. However this fact was mentioned in the Quraan 1,400 years ago in the following verse:
"Blessed is He Who made Constellations in the skies, And placed therein a Lamp And a Moon giving light." [Al-Quraan 25:61]

Consider the following verses related to the nature of light from the sun and the moon: "It is He who made the sun To be a shining glory And the moon to be a light (Of beauty)." [Al-Quraan 10:5]
"See ye not How Allah has created The seven heavens One above another, "And made the moon A light in their midst, and made the sun As a (Glorious) Lamp?" [Al-Quraan 71:15-16]

"It is He Who created The Night and the Day, And the sun and the moon: All (the celestial bodies) Swim along, each in its Rounded course." [Al-Quraan 21:33]

"It is not permitted To the Sun to catch up The Moon, nor can The Night outstrip the Day: Each (just) swims along In (its own) orbit (According to Law)." [Al-Quraan 36:40]

"He Who created the heavens And the earth and all That is between." [Al-Quraan 25:59]

"And the Sun Runs its course For a period determined For it; that is The decree of (Him) The exalted in Might, The All-Knowing." [Al-Quraan 36:38]

"With the power and skill Did We construct The Firmament: For it is We Who create The vastness of Space." [Al-Quraan 51:47]

"The Unbelievers say, Never to us will come The Hour: say, Nay! But most surely, By my Lord, it will come Upon you by Him Who knows the unseen From Whom is not hidden The least little atom In the Heavens or on earth: Nor is there anything less Than that, or greater, but Is in the Record Perspicuous." [Al-Quraan 34:3] [A similar message is conveyed in the Quran in 10:61]

Literature and poetry have been instruments of human expression and creativity, in all cultures. The world also witnessed an age when literature and poetry occupied pride of position, similar to that now enjoyed by science and technology.

Muslims as well as non-Muslims agree that Al-Qur’aan is Arabic literature par excellence - that it is the best Arabic literature on the face of the earth. The Qur’aan, challenges mankind in the following verses:

Al-Qur’aan 2:23-24
And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides God, if your (doubts) are true.
But if ye cannot- and of a surety ye cannot- then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones,- which is prepared for those who reject Faith.

Where you ask a simple yes or no question, from a real man you will get a simple yes or no, and not one of these:

"Well, according to the latest reports, and within the usual parameters and time variables, I would have to respond to your query with a definite, guarded, affirmative. The odds are good I had Queche for dinner last night."

Among real men, this is known as Bullsh!t.

Somalib!tch obfuscates and hides behind cut and paste instead of answering simple questions because she is incapable of independent thought. Indeed regards it as sacriligeous. So you ask which is it, she never answers, instead cutting and pasting some scripture like a quasi functional sycophant.

Somalisizz,

The moon Confused Surprised

Who asked you about the moon or how the heavens were joined? What is the matter with you? Do you have problems understanding simple questions?

In my original post, I presented three ayas. The first two contradicted the last about what was created FIRST: The heavens or the earth. Two of the ayas say the heavens were created first, the third says earth was created first. How do you reconcile this glaring contradiction in the book of perfection?

Don't deflect or give me pre-digested replies. I want you to answer my question as asked. For emphasis, I repeat the question for the last friggin time. According to the quran, what was created first: heavens or the earth? You can use ONLY the three ayas provided since they contradict themselves. This is relevant becuz you and others have said the quran contains no contradictions. I'm waiting

[quote="Nomad1"]

six or eight days of creation? sura 7:54, 10:3, 11:7, and 25:59 clearly state that allah created "the heavens and the earth" in six days. but in 41:9-12 the detailed description of the creation procedure adds up to eight days.

quote]

Nomad1 did you copy from answering-islam.org ?? from where did you copy?

1. The creation of the earth took two (2) days;
2. the setting up of mountains, seas etc., and the provision of sustenance for living things on the earth took four (4) days; and
3. the making of the skies took two (2) days.

"These verses are not giving the number of days involved in three creations, but only two." It is not the earth, the mountains (etc.) and the skies that are under consideration, but only the earth and the skies. (The Reader is requested to have a look at these verses again, and see it for himself/herself). The portion: "And He set upon the earth mountains, towering high above it. He blessed it and provided it with sustenance for all those in need, alike, in four days", mentions only a continuation and finalisation of the process of the creation of the earth.

The Commentators understand the "four Days" in verse 10 to include the two Days in verse 9, so that the total for the universe comes to six Days. This is reasonable, because the processes described in verses 9 and 10 form really one series.

it explains it fully on the site, just cause you dont understand the quran doesn't mean it contains contraditions
