Voltage your clan is not on trial here so calm down sxb. Thanks for your input is much appreciated and i am sorry i mixed up warlords with politicians, most of hawiye politicians today can also be considered warlords :)
Yes indeed sxb, if in fact you think of post-civil war warlords in the categorization of "politicians" you would likely think I have something against Hawiye. However if you separate the two designations you would see that I treat Hawiye "politicians" with the same respect and caution as I treat all other legitimate Somali personalities.

Alchemist,

I think everything after the statement and the subsequent apologies is just unnecessary. My Dad actually knows both these Guys pretty well. Xoosh Kibrey Had absolutely zero to do with Government and was a businessmen and I think it was actually sugar that He was involved in and He started His business in the '60s before the Kacaan. As far as Cabdiqaadir Massale He was in the Government but I don't remember the role. The point I'm making is Xoosh should not have to apologise or accuse the former regime of anything being that He was not part of the Government to begin with. If He is to accuse Cabdiqaadir Massale of something its meaningless because he wasn't part of the Government. If He was to apologise for the actions of the Government it would be unnecessary because he wasn't part of the Government to begin with.

This is nothing more than a most barefaced attempt to attack and malign the collective Marexan clan based on hypotheticals and the opinions of a singular private citizen who has never held public office. The cheap disclaimer that you attached at the bottom reading “no qabil bashing” and your phony attempts to be objective haven’t blinded us to your agenda nor are we unable to read between the lines. We have nothing to apologize for, nor shall we apologize for presiding over a strong dignified Somali nation. Miscreants on this forum who clap their booty cheeks for warlords harvesting tribal fiefdoms and enemy sponsored rebels who are responsible for the battered and broken state of Somalia will never receive anything but our utter contempt. Take your fake outrage and shove it.

First of all, Xoosh Kibrey was never involved in government, never held a position, and has never been accused of anything. He was a businessman and as for what he said, I think it is evident even he feels it was inappropriate, counter-productive, and insensitive and apologized accordingly. He realizes he made a mistake and he has atoned for it, no need to keep rehashing it.
Voltage we will get to the Hawiye politicians and their roles in the government and usc later on, maybe we can create a topic for it but right now we are talking about Mareexaan politicians.
From a third-party perspective, with all due respect to everyone, I think Voltage gave a beautiful answer to Alchemist's inquiry.

Alchemist, your focus was on Mareexaan Politicians, and Voltage said, "Xoosh was never invovled in government, never held a position, and has never been accused of anything. He was a businessman.." Doesn't that simply end the entire thread? :|

If Xoosh was NEVER a politician or part of Siyaad Barre's government, then what is there to ask about ONE MAN's opinion, not to mention, he apologized for whatever "wrongdoing" he may have said in Universal TV. :|
