Sometimes my love for hilib ari is so strong, I just cook digsi weeyn of hilib and fry it and eat it with nothing else but cup of water and hot sauce.

lol sxb let me give you one piece of advice first marinate the hilib ari, then brown the meat on each side on a hot frying pan with a little bit oil in it five minutes max,
then conceal it well so no air can get in or out then cook it in the oven, I tell you it will taste really good,
if you cook it then fry it will get hard and the meat will loose all the juice ,

Never cared for boiled meat of any kind. Never saw white potatoes at any time in Somalia. Rice was mostly just a northern dish, or at least I rarely saw in in Jilib.

My all time favorite meal was beer ari iyo Muuffo tinaar. Laxoox with suugar was my next favorite.
