Iran sends satellite into orbit

Postby udun » Sun Sep 25, 2011 1:06 am

So much for the nonsense that Muslims are backward and cannot develop technologies.

Kudos to Iran's Space Technology progress.

The Iranians are the most backward nations in the world; but they have insane amount of pride and self-believe which will ultimately proof their undoing. The other day they claimed they invented a new anti-missile Defense System that can successfully change the direction of the enemy's missile  so much hubris

Its not true to say Iranians are backward when amongst them you find scientists, doctors, poets, scholars(Imam bukhari) and so on.
They also builded many civilizations( Achaemenid Empire, Sassanid).
And now I can say without error that their new islamic state is one of the regional powers.

What have arabs done so far?

"Iranian Minister of Defense Brig. Gen. Ahmad Vahidi noted that while the Rasad satellite was lightweight and classified as a "micro-satellite," it had many of the capabilities of larger satellites.

The placement of the Rasad satellite into orbit heightens fears about Iran's ballistic capability potentially being married to a nuclear weapon payload.

The program is under the Department of Defense, along with the "civilian electric generation project". It is my understanding that Riyadh is at least as interested in this development as Tel Aviv is and I expect to see some increasingly strange bedfellows in the region.

These missile development from Islamic Republic of Iran simply refutes the statements that you have made here:

You can watch the SHAHAB-5 Intercontinental Ballistic Missile that can reach over 5,000 Miles here:

The fact is the Islamic world is progressing while we, Somalis, are caught up in backward clannish nonsense. We can't even feed our own people. We should be grateful to Allah and the rest of Islamic world who is moving ahead. This is what we need to keep in mind reflect upon when we are looking at our own grim situation!

Twenty years ago Iran couldn't have made a bike, with all the sanctions and pressure, an 8 year war imposed on Iran by the West through Saddam and his WMD. I am glad to see the ingenuity of Iranian mind, and it is understandable Iranian nation should feel militarily secure before they invest in other areas. Look the Sunni world, with the exception of Pakistan and Malaysia, the rest of them are caught up in constant arms-buying spree, arms that are always inferior.

To put things in perspective, we,Somalis, have been without a stable, functioning, and representative government for twenty years; we have let ourselves down when the rest of the world is progressing; we we have let our defenseless civilian population live in refugee camps inside our country and outside of our country; and yet we have the audacity to point our mouth at people who are building satellites and ICBM (Inter-continental Ballistic Missiles). Shame on us!!

This satelite hopes to discover the whereabouts of the 12th imaam, Muhammad al mahdi AS. After over a 1000 years of being secluded from civlisation, Inshallah he is sane.

You are obtuse and lacking any knowledge.

Iran is a Shiica nation. They believe in a fictional 12th Imam called Muhammad ibn Hasan, who is the supposed Mahdi. This Imaam went into hiding at the age of 5 apparently, and they say he went into some cave in Samurra, although this is unverified.

You see where the joke fits in?

Now kindly move along you dimwit and stop waisting my time.
