A book is read for its contents, not the demographics of the author. It is not a crime to do a comparative analysis of books covering the same subjects --- Somali history.

By the way is Warsame from the Tarey family?

What retarded comments in this thread, and what a indication of the primitive nature of Somalis. First nobody is pointing a gun to Your head saying read the book, and certainly the purpose of the thread was not to solicit views or opinions on Siyaad Barre Aun. Writing and publishing a book is not a easy task. Heck most of the people in this thread even struggle to construct coherent paragraphs, let alone author a book. Someone took on a scholarly endeavor, travelled across Countries, Cities to personaly interview people and collect information. Anyone who took the time and effort to see through a task such as this one deserves credit
