Time To Bury The Mooryaan & Faqash Terms:

Postby Knight of Wisdom » Thu Sep 29, 2011 6:28 pm

It has ruined our society. (Not really  ) But on a serious note, it's time we stop using this two terms. We have thousands of young ones coming into adolescence starting to get use to this two terms. Not to mention, a whole new group of kids have been conceived, some been given birth to and others so little to even cope with this world. If they reach their adulthood with this terms in existence, then....it will not change the status quo. In fact, they won't be any different from the generation that fucked Somalia up (Our Parents/Uncles/Cousins/Brothers/Sisters/Aunts/ and some Grandparents).

So, wrap the Faqash/Mooryaan words and throw em' in the PIN !

You're probably wondering why I didn't include "iidoor", but...that isn't an insult. IIDOOR has two syllables, II and DOR. The way IIDOOR came is an interesting story. My grandfather told me about it a while back.

Somewhere in the Hawd, an Ogaden Camel herders were approached by few Isaaq men. The Isaaq men had few woman with them. It was near a well known CEEL. So, the Isaaq men said to the Ogaden men, "We are in need of water. We've been traveling for a while now and we're headed to so and so". The Ogaden men looked at each other and said, well...let's compromise. In exchange for water, you give us your woman....and they used the term "II DOOR".

The British have used the term IIDOOR, making the German guy Gunther be the latest person to use the IIDOOR term to get some....in Hergaysa.

  Warye, how could you like something that is synonymous with destruction, brutality and shamefulness? The same could be said for Faqasta. Sxb, I for one, have never used the Mooryaan term on any Hawiye person, nor have any Hawiye person ever used the Faqash term on me or in my presence. It's a start.....Hawiye-Daarood unity in reconstructing their society, creating that prosperity in turning their country into a beacon of democracy, unity and equality. :D :som:

Faqash is not a term for a particular Clan

Nor is mooryaan a term for a particular clan

Idoor is a term for a Clan not offensive though

Qaldaan is a collective group of the north or Somalilanders who speak in a certain way dialect which is very hard to understand by the koonfurians when they speak it very fast

Actually, I don't see Faqash as an insult. Despite the fact that it's used by the iidoor strictly on the Daaroods, it has no significant effect on any Daarood. Ciyaal, let's call you guys Suldaanada Duubka Cad and let's call the Daaroods, Boqoriintii Dhulka Hantaday !

Well, in that case it should be an insult to YOU.

It's like doing something illegal and when you see the Police you say, FUCK (Faqash)!

Or, when you see your Boss coming over to you, you say, FUCK (Faqash).

Faqash means anyone who supported Siad Barre or worked under his regime..

Moryaan means someone who loots, kills innocent people, and is basically a barbaric cunt.

Faqash doesn't bother me as much. I Think it is about damn time to stop using of the term "dhabayaco." The word are coined by certain people and we all know who. This is a converstation I had with this old qaldan dude the other day

Man: "Dee qolmeed tahay"
Me: (Shocked) "Majeerteen"
Man: "haa! Maa Dhabayaco ayaad ahayd"
Me: (pissed off) "hooyada uu sheeg"
Man: "Naa maxaad igu tidhi"
Me: Didn't respond. Just walked away.

If you are going to call me that, pray to god it is in the cyber world. If you would have said that to me in real life, I garantee you, that would have been the last thing you ever said. :|
