People that worship Saudi Arabia

Postby FAH1223 » Fri Sep 30, 2011 9:10 am

This isn't a wahaba v. non wahabi thread. But I met this Nigerian guy who's eyes lit up when he saw a Yemeni friend of mine who just came back from Saudi doing an internship over the summer.

"You were in Saudi?!!" says the kid

"Yeah"

"HOW WAS IT? :o  :-O "

"..okay"

and then the convo turns into the Nigerian kid saying he can't practice his religion here and a white convert comes and tells him thats untrue, you can sue the crap outta people for religious discrimination, etc

then the kid says its okay women can't drive and says the scholars are always right, they can never be wrong and that saudi is the only place where islam is being practiced

the saudi guys are baffled and saying "wtf he thinks our country is some kind of religious utopia"

the kid says "there's no alcohol, no corruption" and we're like... "HELLO? look at the 'royal' family nigga!"

smh

Give it a rest man. We all know that you worship America so why begrudge another man for loving saudi arabia?

Ps...I understand you are trying to prove something with your constant BS since this place is monitored by your kin (Washigton) and hope to be picked for the team.

FAH I wonder how much you would love your country if they sent you on rendition to Jordan or even Somalia.

Go and live in the Middle East for six months and lets see if you come back to the States in one peace

i don't have a beef with saudis bro

i have a beef with people thinking it is some type of utopia when it isn't. Just because the two holiest cities are there doesn't give the higher ups a pass to be hypocrites.

Don't get me wrong, Saudi Arabia has done good things for the Muslims around the world. But does Saudi culture or bedouin culture = Islam? No!

Awdal, My birth place is Silver Spring, Maryland. As far as the US government is concerned, they do not know I am Somali by ethnic origin. They probably think I'm African American cause that's what I mark on the census. As long as my record is clean and I stay an honest guy, I have faith everything will work itself out in the end. I am aware of the Somalis in Virginia who have had trouble coming back home and stuff like the Patriot Act inhinge on our privacies and freedoms. These measures must be eliminated

America is my country but I'm not blind to the bullshid it does and how selective it is to its citizens. How we have a Congress that protects the interests of the rich and is 90% white millionaries and the 99% are mindless sheep who are now just starting to wake up to the inequality that has been increasing for 30 years.

fah, but there are many more people, like you and a few more in here, who think america is a utopia when that is far from the truth. I believe saudi government is running their country well as for these childish accusations like they drink and shit where is your proof.

I didn't say he should hate where he lives but his attitude stink. This kid is attacking Saudi Arabia using the ruling family when in actual fact he has another agenda. Fox news agenda. listen to him claiming to register as an African American. no wonder he comes in here with that plantation mentality.

But then who knows, fah might be the first man to get into washington using Somalinet as a steping stone

Ps..waryaa when they are debriefing you make sure you tell them..we aight

America isn't a utopia. I've never said that. It has a lot of problems of inequality, social justice, discrimination and the problem of race still exists, and a lot of ignorant people around.

Its their country, but don't come at me that Saudi Arabia is the beacon of Islam or the representation of Islam. They are the custodians of the two holy masjids, they have a lot of wealth and generally take care of their citizens, but even the Saudis will tell you that their country doesn't use Sharia effectively and its shaped by their bedouin culture

and the princes and princesses are well known for their extravagent parties where much alcohol is drunk... its all over the internets
