Yup it is confusing I heard islamically its not allowed cos the Arabs pre-islam used to change dates and times of the year so the people of faith at that time missed the holy days.

how can be not allowed in islam?? pre arabic islam the mechanical measurement which we have today ""clock" "watch" did not existed.

instrumental clock which we have today was not invented yet pre islamic arabic not even the time of the prophet scw. mechanical measurement which we call clock which shows 24-hour period did not existed 1400 years ago. anctien times people who lived in near equatorial latitude IN ARABIA they MEASURED the time of the position of the Sun. for them the day and night was equel lenght
those people did not now there are land which months of years the Sun never sets down. they though every where like arabian peninsula .

What do you mean it doesn't start until 2am tonight? The time has already changed 2am this morning.

Your internet-connected computer should have already changed automatically to the new time (though sometimes you have to setup the PC to do it automatically), as well as your smart-phone (unless you're using Nokia abu toosh)

lol walle this whole morning I have been confused. Last night at 12am I changed the clock to 1am when I was sleeping on my fone right and last night im guessing 2am my fone changed automatic by itself so my fone was changed two hours ahead. I was walking around thinking why am I ahead of everyone else by one hour so I guessed maybe it didnt change

Xaliimo, if you have one of these smartphones you don't have to change anything as it will change automatically. Even computers (if connected to the internet) should adjust automatically.
