Can someone shed light on this Hadith?

Allah's Apostle said, "Allah said, 'The offspring of Adam abuse the
Dahr (Time), and I am the Dahr (Time); in My Hands are the night and the
day!'


Is this hadeeth saheeh?

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Allah said, "The offspring of Adam abuse the Dahr (Time), and I am the Dahr; in My Hands are the night and the day." !

this is the reason i hate when they translate quran and ahadeths!!

"{ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِى أَبُو سَلَمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ اللَّهُ يَسُبُّ بَنُو آدَمَ الدَّهْرَ ، وَأَنَا الدَّهْرُ ، بِيَدِى اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ

as you see Prophet saw used the word "dahar" wich is other world but stronger than "waqt" or time as english translator used.

so hadeeth means: people who insult days and night, call some days" black day" malin an naseeb laheyn etc. Allah created days and night and He planed what going to happen and not its fault if something you dont like happen in that particular days. the planer is Allah so your insults goes back to Allah.

so basicly says" Allah is the "modaber" and not the time, days and nights.
