Compared to the wahabi dress code (Gembis, shuka, etc), the dirac is a traditional somali dress. You rarely see it in public nowadays.
I miss the days when somali women wore a beautiful dirac (transparent) and you could see their baqtinooleeys and the gorgorad.
To be fair to the wahabi dress code, it helps ugly and fat women to be women

Why do I have this feeling that ZINGI and ENLGHTED SISTER have abandoned wearing the dirac after giving birth to many children? Childbirth for somali women comes with a price; increase in body weight; if you have been ugly and gain weight due yo childbirth (or over comsumption) the dirac is the last thing you'd wear. The wahabi dress is the best; it conceals everything .
