It's a matter of experience and practicality. The few Somali pilots work for Western airlines while the old generation have long retired. If there's a new breed of Somali youth that are interested in the aviation industry as pilots, am sure they will get opportunities. Somalia is slowly but surely emerging out of 2 decades of civil war and anarchy and now is the time to develop a competent pilots. I am certain once the final details are worked out, certain Arab countries will finance the training of the future Somali National Airlines. We just need to be patientQuestion about Somali planes. Why are the pilots always russian? Are they saying there isn't a qualified somali pilot in the whole world?
They can't be worse than Dhaalo. I actually had a broken seatloool jubba airways is a joke of a company . they. are lucky there are high barriers to entry in their industry or they would have gone out of business yesterday. jubba ought to focus on improving that which they are already struggling to provide rather than trying to run when still struggling to crawl.
Jubba Ai rways has ordered 9 Boeing 747s
I can tell you right now Daalo airways beats British airways. The best airlines I've been on is Qatar airways (the food isn't too good though, but what airline food is, right?).They can't be worse than Dhaalo. It's ok if they refused you a free ride. Better luck next timeloool jubba airways is a joke of a company . they. are lucky there are high barriers to entry in their industry or they would have gone out of business yesterday. jubba ought to focus on improving that which they are already struggling to provide rather than trying to run when still struggling to crawl.
broken seats with the material in shreds. that fall back on you. who needs seatbelts. what are safety instructions. put the luggage in front of the safety exit or between your legs. who needs aircon. why bother cleaning the plane. the soviet relic plane they use may be late anything between 4 and 12 hours due to 'technical faults' with the plane. SMH god be with anyone who flies jubba. They can't be worse than Dhaalo. Ah, I see not only are you naive, ill-informed but you are also easily amused. These pictures are just that - pictures. Rovingmadness let me explain what actually happens on the ground. Because of the regulations and legal requirements in dubai (the hub for jubba) they use the plane of which pictures you are talking. Let me be more specific, don't get me wrong, the flights to and from dubai are comfortable, safe and up to standard. This plane, if and when it works and arrives, takes you either to berbera or djibouti. As soon as the plane leaves Dubai though, it is maddness ... regardless of the schedule that is published and expected you may fly to djibouti, mogadishu or berbera depending on what suites the company. If you are taken to djibouti or Hergaisa or berbera for transit to places like boosaaso, galkacyo, you are then transferred to the crazy dirty and dangerous propeller plane that goes between dji - harg. - boos - galkac.@ this kid calling Boeing Jets as " Soviet Relic" Shows your extreme hatred for Jubba Airways so it's not based on facts. Pictures speak louder than some random words on a computer screen and they are laughing at your baby cries
