Soomaali waa soomaali meelkasta ay aduunka ka joogaan.
Diversity maxa kenay isku dad baanu nahay.
I actually have a short story to share with you guys.
I used to be a big qabilist a while back.
But that all changed when i went back to the home land.
On the plane I was on were all ethiopians who were giving us dirty looks and saying their af xabashi shit and laughing towards our direction.
This somali son and his father were going through the same thing and when we saw each we became so happy and became good friends and to this day still are. They were a different tribe then me but that didnt matter because we are the same people at the end of the day. Their group and my group together equaled 6 somalis and when the ethiopians saw us together they stopped even looking in our direction.

Probably the most said Somali proverb that has no real meaning for most Somalis
Dugsi maleh qabyaaladi waxay dumiso mooyaane

P.S. I remeber i said this to one of my friends and he said idoorka timacade used to steal poems from hawwiyes. lol :) smh :(
