why did the USA give ethiopia the airplanes air-drones that bombs terrorist .... why didnt they give those planes to somali goverment

Because there is no goverment in Somalia just a bunch of thiefs, and puppets..beside America is not interested in a strong peacefull Somalia, they just wanna keep in this misery forever, hope that answered your question,

The west keeps arming Ethiopia and Kenya while keeping Somalia under arms embargo and refuses the Somali government, which they "support", to form capable and professional security forces. Not only under arms embargo, but every dime that was intended for Somalia goes thru the corrupt UNDP offices in New York and Nairobi, where corrupt western and African UN officials used that funding to buy homes and hotels in Niarobi and in the Cayman Islands. People blame corruption in the Somali TFG, but the truth it is designed to fail and to never be able to claim Somali statehood. Believe it or not, in the eyes of the western governments, no Somali state should ever return to govern Somalia. Whether we accept it or not, we are under trusteeship.

However, I don't see anyone wanting to conquer a country that's already down on its last string. Face it Somalia doesn't have any enemies at this point but themselves, until we comprehend that and surging to work together for greater good. I don't think anyone with a right mind would want to armament a country that has been war torn for almost two decades. That's like adding gas to a raging wildfire.

Professional and capable Somali security forces do require better arms than the rest of the armed groups in Somalia. That means better tanks, helicopters, armoured vehicles, re-training of the officer corps, and most importantly counter-insurgencies tactics. Being professional, I mean security forces that can respect the law and know their limits and responsibilities in the law. We also need help in reforming the judiciary. If the west is genuine in supporting Somalia, those are the areas they need to focus on to help the TFG. It should be understood Somali TFG is no more corrupt than Kenya, and the blame that they will rob the money is ludicrous. AMISOM forces can receive all of the training in the world, equipments, and funding, but Somali security forces are deprived from that privelege That does not make sense!

udun, uncountable missions to muscle somalis failed miserly. What we need is not more arms and security forces but to get all inclusive government with little or no foreign involvement. The problem is that we won't have peace as long as sizable percentage of the population is unhappy. Ethiopia, Kenya/Eritrea and many other countries are open shops for disgruntled warlords/etc.

very true.you see the foreign interference is like virus/bacteria in somalia..and all these neverending wars, resistances ,voilence so on ,you can call it the immune system fighting back.. the vicious cycle will continue.

Its because the foreign policy towards Somalia is about containment and containment solely. As long as insecurity is confined and neutralized within Somali borders, the I.C. and the Americans specifically are content.

^^you know ethiopia ,kenya etc have been getting billions of cash for decades against us somalis.. its like we, our arms tied back in the boxing-ring facing both of them while they are on boosted on stroids, yet we alive and kick back harder...in a fair balance they wouldnt stand against us..
