@ Lamgoodle: That sounds like my thing. Naag markaad rabtidba ku hoos taala waaba big turn off, sxb. Yeah I know, oday ay ka dhamaatay ayaan ahay ee is jiid-jiidka iyo howlahaasay iigu baxdaa! :ugeek:

Nabeela lugtay kor u taagtey ee xiligan way quurineysaa, I think.

Yeah, Shariif Jeeg, Aw Koombe, Aw Kuuku (AUN), Zio Tom, Maki Xaaji Banaadir, Oday Cabdulle, Jeyte are all great comedians. The only problem is markaad Balcad dhanka north u dhaafto people up there will need an interpreter to understand them. :D

Ninyahow I know Maki is but I am not sure about Zio Tom. I think Zio was from Xamar.

PS: Sorry, I just remembered you asked me this question yesterday & I was about to leave home and wanted to respond later but oldies have always excuses, innit?

@seemeyer, you even keep track of what words you used for the first time? Nin jaciib ah ayaad tahay!

Ilaah ajar haka siiyo inta ka qayb qaadatay howshaas & may Allah give him his sight back, Aamiin.

Twist, haa waa runtaa laakin markaay xamar fiicneed it was people from north of Balcad that crowded the theatres. It was usual that they start saying "ma waxaasi ayaa murti ah" only to find them occupy every seat when the great Ahmedey Abdi Gaashan's play was showing.

Zio Tom is from Merca; he could be from Ceel jaale; I used to have a friend - reer Jeyte inaad taqaanid ayaa laga yaaba- whose uncle was zio tom.

Mudug women iyo aniga iskuma kaayno baxdo; this people can even call nabiga Nijaas; waay af xunyihiin. Markii nuuris laga rabo waxaay ku leedahay; war maxaad rabtaa? and you have improvise rape everytime: that puts me off
