In the area I live which is full of people from xamar(nothing to do with qaabiil,im talking about everyone who was born in xamar) they all seem to play soccer like 24 hours a day. You could say this is a foreigner thing but the guys I know play every single day. Even the older men like 40-60 years old play everyday and instead of wearing old people clothes they wear soccer attire  . So is this common with people from other areas of somalia or somaliweyn or is this just a reer xamar thing

Mcali, generally speaking, in Somalia, much like the rest of the world, soccer is by far the most popular of all sports , and is as such practiced in various degree in every region. Now, it is true regions south of Hiiraan, Mogadisicio, for example, soccer is much more revered and practiced than the rest of the country, and farther south you travel, (with the exceptions of couple of regions like Gedo, and Middle Juba) you will find this, indeed, to be the case. So, yes, reer Xamars are much more predisposed to play this beautiful game of soccer then the folks in Galciao, Buro, Dhuusomareeb, or any point in between, north of Hiiraan. Of course, once again, I would like to make clear to all, before I am accused of bad mouthing some particular regions,I am not implying here that North provinces don't love the game. It is just that, for some reason or another, they are not as soccer crazy as the Southern compatriots.

I go with my friend sometimes and i find many somalis from diffrent regions but the majority is reer xamar. It might be just because my area might have alot of somalis from that area. I just feel like the y take it too far like my friends house not room, but whole house is full of liverpool stuff.

Actualy its the chinese that invented the game.

The Brits changed it and made it into what it is today.
