Haha Funny. But to be honest, i think Kenyans have genuine respect for Somalis, and they don't really bother much about their tribe the way Somalis worry so much about their clans. Apart from the CORRUPT One time Chief Of General Staff, Mahmud Mohammed and current Minister of defence yusuf haji, other Somalis in government have been pretty decent and they don't attract any strong emotions. The list of successful Kenyan Somalis is long; Maj General Hussein Ali (former chief of police currently facing charges at the Hague,) Abdikadir Muhamed (Chair of the parliamentary oversight committee on the constitution,) Isaak Hassan (Chair of the Independent Electoral commission,) Adan Keynan (Head of the parliamentary committee on defense,) among many others.

So far, no Somali has indicated any intention of going for presidency, but a Jaffer Isaak from the Gabra tribe (who are also cushites,) has indicated. Many kenyans would have voted for him but the guy doesn't seem to have any cash.

Do you think the parents will allow you to marry any of them? Were you wearing your Romeo hat? Anyway, talking of being looked at by a somali girl, i was ten years old and i was deeply in love with this Arab girl in a school where the sponsors were Hindu and where everone (Hindus, Muslims, and Christians) were taught Christian Religious Education. A current minister came with her daughters and employed a Muslim teacher for the school. This girl was class ahead of me and then she came to our class and asked for me. The way she looked at me, i don't know what to say. I just froze.

I have a lot of respect for Kenyans.
