That you love them? Once a year? Have you ever done it? Everytime you see them?

If I did that my father would do this . Plus we don't come from a culture that does that.

Rarely ever because we assume the love is already there why say it.

Isn't that sentiment only saved for long goodbyes like when leaving to go on a long holiday?

My dad is the actions speak louder than words kind of guy. Hooyo whenever I feel carried away by emotion or when she is.

Siblings? Never in my life imagine trying to say that to your older brother

I say it to my siblings only when i wanna annoy them my brother threatens my life after it, one time i said it to him in the car cuz i wanted him to shut up and he threatened to open the door i was going 60mph

We never say I love you in my house...we actually find somalis that do that hilarious

i wouldnt imagine in somali or english too but in arabic i say it like 100 times a day to my mom, dad, siblings, uncle little cousin.

nope.. only when my dad is travelling and anit gona see him for a long time. i find it kinda wierd to even say those word i'm more of actions speak louder then words .. although its nice to hear that sometimes.
