Somalis have been feasting, killing, looting, taking the dignity and committing horrible injustices against each other for more than two decades through warlords, hogaamiye kooxeedyaal, qabqables. The one group that claimed to be representing soely the Religion Shishkabab actually ended up part taking in the suffering of the people when they started serving foreign agendas not Nationalistic Somali agendas. When people are in such dire straits they will call whoever they believe can help them. I don't see anything pragmatic about betting on AMISOM to restore peace to a country with a government incapable of providing even a tiny semblance of services and order. There is no pragmatism involved in somehow hoping AMISOM's presence will allow the TFG to magically reform itself into a legitimate institution.
