There was only road in Mogadishu when Siyaad Barre took power. Its amazing how much work went into the capita during the revolution government, and then stupid illiterate mobs destroyed the capital like maxaa ka galay. Forget buildings even lam-post and statues couldn't survive.

Inshallah the capital city will re-shine.

Zingi, let`s not go there, what happened happened, you really gotto admire the dedication and the strength of people in Mogadishu, despite 20 years warfare, they have not giving up hope, and they are returning to build their city from scratch. Nabadu waa qaali, ilaahey nabad iyo khery ha siyo Mogadishu, it is still our capital.
