We are living in extraordinary crazy times

Postby Alchemist » Fri Nov 11, 2011 7:54 am

Just in our lifetime Tsunami, Sept11, Taliban, the US invades Afghanistan and Iraq. Sadam captured and hanged, Warlords kicked out of the south Somalia and the rise of Islamic courts. black man becomes president of the US, Gaddafi a man who ruled for more than forty years killed then molested by some Arab guy on video. For the first time a group of Somalis want to get to the west on boats not as refugees but to blow it up (shabab).. Somali suicide bombers. The creation of Euro. Overthrow of regimes in Tunisia, Egypt, Hussein Mubarak and sons arrested. Islamic party wins in Tunisia and Turkey. Abdiwahab kicked out of the Hawiye private room by rovingmadness for not being Hawiye enough :D

Is hard to notice sometimes because we are living in it but those who come after us will talk about these events in amazement.

I would have added somaliland to the list of extraordinary things in our lifetime but it still didn't get recognition.

Alxamdulillah I wasn't there bro but I will be going there this Sunday. People getting killed is not new in eastleagh plus the fight was between kenyan street kids and a somali youth gang. If the kenyan population decided to attack the Somalis all together the story would be much different.

40some million people died in WW2. Meh. The most extraordinary things about our time revolve around luxuries of technology.
