Is there a ritual you perform at your job on a daily basis?
I ask this because, this guy that works in the same building as I do comes to my work area (4days a week), then bangs on the table and says “YAP YAP” and I always reply back saying “good morning”.

thats prolly his way of keeping sanity. I have my ritual no one talks to me in the morning till I come out of it. And the freaking galo man I can't stand their calacaal anymore when 99% of ur department is women including the management you are just doomed I used to feel sorry for the only guy who works there but he copes well lol.
