There is nothing about Yibirs that remind us of them being jews; clothing, religion etc. They are muslims, dress like somalis and speak somali.

So, they are not jews, do not adhere to judaism and don't speak Hebrew

They are active in Sland but also southern Somalia, eastern Ethiopia in the Ogaden and even the NFD. There are not much; I heard they are less than 20,000 today. They even have one seat (as of the mid 2000's when Abdiqasim was President) including their represenation in Somaliland parliament.

Yibir are said to either have Jewish ancestry or Nilotic ancestry mixed with somali. The word 'Yibir' comes from the word Hebrew. They have Sephardic Jewish ancestry (maybe) who came to Africa almost 1000 years ago. The mystery can be solved with simple dna genalogy tests on a large segment of the Yibir population.

Fighter lol @ your fairy tales, you cannot be serious about Sephardic/Nilotic ancestry. I know actual Yibir families and you would never be able to tell what their clan is unless they told you. They are ethnic Somalis and look no different than the average ethnic Somali. Your tale you're repeating is a social construction that has as much legitimacy as the tales that some have Arab ancestry. People of Nilotic or even Jewish descent look distinct and these features do not evaporate with time. Look at the Saudis with Nilotic ancestry, they have been there for hundreds of years but their features are distinct. Such is the same even in Somalia with the Jareerweyne etc. If the typical Somali doesn't intermarry with Yibirs how do you explain how they look like ethnic Somalis if they have different ancestry? Pure fallacy that can easily be disproved by DNA testing. Didn't you see the results on this forum almost everyone ended up with similar DNA regardless of clan
