Her Mahram is sitting next to the Sheikh. I don't see any mixing. I see the women are sitting in one side and the men are sitting in Another side. Mixing does not mean Not being in the same masjid with others.This girl Came for her halaal nikaax in the house of allah. What could be more right for her to do?

I've never seen any nikaax performed in either way. I've always learnt the woman must have a representative speaking for her. Always. A particular wedding in my family was similar to the first, but instead of the women being in the same room, the camera linked to a projector in an adjacent one.

My problem with Somali weddings is that the girls no how to party, but the dudes, it's like "eat your bariis and gtfo". That ain't right. After the nikaax of a good friend of mine, we played COD for 9 hours till he got his wife. I don't know if it's just my small circle of friends or if this is how it usually goes.
