And if civil war breaks out there it will really be tragic for the entire Horn. The impacts are hard to calculate. But Ethiopia is a far larger country than Somalia. I hate to think what that will mean to Ethiopia's inhabitants.

Your are right..ethiopia is larger than Somalia...but the majority of ethiopian are the Oromo; the long marginalised, disfranchise and politically opressed..people...

Not quite true. The Ogadeni are a plurality, but not a majority.

Well Mad Mac..you got that one wrong..the Ogadenian people are the Majority in the Ogaden Province. Im sure the same cannot be said about the other provinces..

Wait, I got Ogaden and Oromo mixed up. What the hell is the matter with me. Ogaden aren't a people, that's a clan family. They're Somali.

OK, Somalis are the majority populatin in the Ogaden. Oromo have a plurality, not majority, in Ethiopia. There were go.

Mad Mac..your still getting it wrong. The Oromo are the Majority in Ethiopia. Oromo is not a mere clan in terms of population Oromo is the Second Largest Tribe in the world after the Zulu tribe of South Africa...

Your right, but compared to the percentage other tribes hold individually, the OROMO standout as the majority

TZ, a majority means over 50%. In this case, they are the largest group, but don't constitute over 50%, ergo they are a plurality, not a majority.
