" The Ahmadiyya (aka Qadiani) believe Mirza Ghulam to be the last nabi. Offshoot Shia sects have similar beliefs.
MIRZA Ghulam never claimed himself to be a Prophet(nabi) the only thin he claimed or hes followers claimed he to be was so called Mujaddid-
the meaning of that arabic word mujaddid is
Mujaddid refers to a person who appears at the turn of every century of the Islamic calendar to revive Islam, remove from it any extraneous elements and restore it to its pristine purity. A mujaddid might be a caliph, a saint (wali), a prominent teacher, a scholar or some other kind of influential person
Ahmadiyah believe sheikh Mirza Ghulam as man who corrected the tawheed exactly like wahaabi sect believe maxamed abdulwahaab corrected the tawheed.
ahmadiyah believe mirza was th real MAHDI the expected one. and he was not th first who claime to be the the expected one, north africa sudan al mahdi of sudan also claimed to be a the expected one and mahdi of sudan was sunni muslim-

about mirza ghulam ahmadiyya on wikipedia
Mirza Ghulam He claimed that he was the Mujaddid (divine reformer) of the 14th Islamic century, the promised Messiah and Mahdi awaited by Muslims.[1][2][3] The adherents of the Ahmadiyya movement are referred to as Ahmadis or Ahmadi Muslims. Ahmadi emphasis lay in the belief that Islam is the final dispensation for humanity as revealed to Muhammad and the necessity of restoring to it its true essence and pristine form, which had been lost through the centuries. Thus, Ahmadis view themselves as leading the revival and peaceful propagation of Islam.[4] The Ahmadis were among the earliest Muslim communities to arrive in Britain and other Western countries.

I dont agree with their beliefs , but the more relevant question is can you coexist and live with them? Also should you base your politics based on secatariansim? I say yes you can can coexist and no it shouldn't determine your politics.

You will end up with either very hypocritical positions like crying for the people of Dammaj while being silent on Saleh's attacks on Taiz. Likewise you will support the Saudis blindly, regardless of there obvious faults. Or you will turn into a narrow rejectionist that is against literally everything and advocates for endless violence against sects/states/ and whoever doesnt share your views. Both these positions do not appeal to me.
