What does Takar having a Dr in Islam gotto to do with anything? Takar is obviously loosing his frigging mind. Even though I have had my doubts about Sheikh Umal in the past, I gotto give him credit for setting the record straight this time

Inalilahi Shift how can you compare Sheikh Umal to this crazy shishkabab sheikh Hassan Takar who said "waxaa AMISOM iyo Galaada ka daran sheikhyada ka so herjeedo Shabab" dhiiga culimada ayuu xalaaleystay....xasbinallah nimca wakiil, they have lost the plot. They are arguing that anyone that goes against their ideology is a walking target.

the whole Somali political thing has come to this!!!

i have to admit that it was just three days ago when i first found out that there was a sheikh by this name who, not only supported alsheidan's merciless endeavor to wipe out anyone with independent mind and different view in Somali society, but who also takes pride in labeling outsiders who opposed to his thinking as "enemy supporters."

i, for one, will never support such narrow-minded individual who sees himself as having the ultimate authority over others and who reject the calls of all living Islamic scholars from around the world.

sheikh umal is an aalim who has done a great job in teaching authentic Islam and exposing extremist ideology and who, like many Somalis, favors a non radical approach to our mega problems.

He is crazy that`s all there is to it. He`s brother is a decent Sheikh and the Imaam of one of the largest Somali Masjiids in UK.

sh.Takar was a member of ictisaam and alitixaad before it,he was in europe the past few years and watching everything while deep in the ictisaam leadership.He was so confused and heart broken with ictisaam and its affairs that he came back to somalia this year and joined shabaab.Umal and the rest of the gang are upset becouse his exposing real secrets as a former insider.

But all kidding aside, who is this guy and what's going on, I haven't been following. Where did this guy come from, and what are him and Umul beefing about, well it sounds like they're beefing anyways.
