The ways in which democrat state works is the majority takes care of the minority. In other word, the politicians have no choice but to rule according the demands placed by general population. Conversely, a republic state is a state where the few take care of the rest. Meaning the few old, diaper wearing old fockers rule the nation as they wish with complete disregard for the people and what they want.
