I have some *distant* relatives that are half Somali/Half Emarati , gabadhaha hoyadood markay iskoolka iman jirtay their friends would ask them 'Who is this?' and they would say 'Haddil khadaama' and whenever their grandmother used to visit from Somalia, way ku qos qosli jireen.
 if that means what I think it means.

1) Enlightened sista was shocked that hyper, a half Somali/half Arab, could translate Somali so well.
2) According to the "Are Daaroods slaves" thread, akhdaam means slave  If that's the case, did those chicks call their mother a slave because they were ashamed of her :?

I am a 'common sense ' Uncle Samist .
You ain't though, unless my definiition of common sense and yours are worlds apart
Sheekadani , ain't about me .
Ninkani wuxu yidhi
Ceelka Hageysa gudihiisa gees u maan dhaafiin .
haye ?
Markaasad tidhi ,
wuxu u jeeda , dagaal-ka ka maan qayb galin , maxa iga gidhiish ah
waayahay
Haddaan anigu na ku idha
de 1942, iyo 1943 , wakhtigedi waa dhamaaday e , maxa iga gidhiish ah
anigii baad iga soo celinaysa sheekadi .
ya?
Dee ninkani waa ba dhintay oo Allah ha u naxariisto e , taad isaga u ogoshahay , aniga oo halkan ku la jooga maxaad igu diidan tahay ?
