If you're going to move Islamic topics to the Islamic section, this should mean that all Sport related topics should be in the Sport section, Jokes in the jokes section etc. Why dont you just admit that this experiment of yours to get members to explore other areas of the forum has failed.

I also have a complaint as to why a person such as Yungfreash is a MOD. Because i and many of the oldies know his dark past

Islamic bashing won't be tolerated, anyone who degrades the regional in any way will be banned from this site, it's our duty as Muslims. What you guys need to do is report or PM any mod if you see these kinda of activities taken place, we don't read every topic, so most of the time we don't even know, unless you guys bring it to our attention. It should be a group effort.

akhyarta, moving islamic topics to the islamic section has far more benefits than keeping them in the general. Let's say u post a good islamic literature on the general and it gets buried and pushed to the third page in a day. That's the end of that topic. However, if you post it in the islamic section it will stay visible more and others who are here to browse islamic material will browse that section, page by page.

There's nothing wrong with having a categorized forum. That's how the whole internet works. Not only are we going to move, we are asking you to help us and post Islamic material in the righ section.

Waryaa you should think about making it harder to ban veteran posters, people that have been here in Somalinet for more than TEN years.

in my opinion the Islamic section should be closed down and removed altogether from these forums.. and the Islamic threads should be allowed to be posted every where in S.net. i don't understand how the whole Islam religion is being cornered in one single section! this is not possible.. Islam should be every where.

BTW, there were really no beneficial Islamic threads being posted anyway. It was just grandpa trolling by posting the most absurd fatwas made by the most obscure mullahs and accusing anyone who didn't agree with the fatwa to be an apostate.

If this was the issue of them being moved than they will decline, as I have taken brother grandpa under my wing and he is listening to my advice.

i like the new policy regarding religious topics. religion should be kept in the religion section and ppl can go their for their tedius fatwa wars.

some members constantly make topics regarding a specific issue whether it be Islamic or Women, this is why mods move topic to other section of the forum and i don't blame them for that. Islamic topics aren't moderated as harshly as Qabiil topics because Qabiil topics are banned from Generals where as Islamic topics are limited, i'm sure if we had a flooding of sport related topics the mods would react by moving them to the sport section. I just don't get it, why do people fail to realise this is general section, for general discussion, its Mods job to keep this balance. well done Mods.
