they take from shuyuukh before them like Imam Sacdi, etc. going all the back to the salaf.

FAH:in the arab sunni world,the topic of Karbala and hussein's death is a no no,they scared people will sympathize with the shia nutjobs.His head is now displayed in a Damscus mosque,i visisted it while ago.

Grandpa I notice a lot salifiya mention a few shaykhs when they mention who they follow. Ibn taymiyah, abdulwahab, and then salafiya. I say this as their classical scholars.

If you grew up in an Arab country all of that would have been 'old' news since a lot of these events have been made into shows or written about etc or even if you knew Arabic you'd pick it up in an article or paper. However, why would they hide about Al-hajaaj and Ottomans? Saudis don't have it in their interest to glorify the Ottomans anyway.

its not new that scholars or sheikhs lie about the islamic history inorder to brainwash people. its proboganda and everybody does it but WAHAABIS are one who does it most . wahaabis scholars will make YAZID IBN MUcaawiya man who murdared children as young as 2 years old as a holy man if you listen wahaabi scholars.

for me couple of years ago Sh Shibile was giving somalis QUDBAD about Shia and how bad shia are . he said Shias have different quran than US(sunnis) he took examples that shias added extra verses in some surah in the quran and some surah they thrown away verses.

Yes, but they are historical texts too you know. Thats why early Islamic history from the hadiths is very important. I do not give two f*cks about anything beyond that, the revelations ended and the Prophet pbuh, the light, was gone. Whatever they did was either against him, or with him, so nothing else really matters. My brain doesnt even want to contain their names and stories,believing in all history is a fools game.
