You mean to tell me you thought Shiicas had a different qur'aan?

It is COMMON knowledge that ALL muslims have had the exact same Quraan
and in the Same order since the time of Khaliif Uthman

i knew muslims had same quran ALL OF THEM . i was talking about a well know somali sheikh who was giving lecture QUDBAD about SHIAS and how bad shias was. he said SHIA CHANGED TO QURAN and shia quran and our quran are not same. he said shia added some verses in the quran. and after i made a research if this is a true or not, i found out that Somali sheikh was a lier. been ayuu sheegayey.

My choice not to delve into it is primarily a result of what is found within it. Learning particular truths would probably be detrimental to me. It has been mostly a negative response, from my end. It isn't an issue of politics, or the end of the revelations, but one of internal conflicts. I feel as long as my beliefs and actions are correct and follow what is in the Qur'an and hadiths as I've understood them and have been taught, I'm good. Unfortunately that itself is hard enough, so no need to compound my problems by introducing further tensions lol.

So far, that has proven false. It has, for me, been counterproductive in terms of wanting to learn more.

There was a time where I made an innocent observation, and everyone in the car laughed for a good 10 seconds. I often reflect on that as a positive moment for me.

But what do you mean?

Your innocent dissapointment that history has not lived up to your ideals. It's so disheartening, that I can't help but be empathetic to your sentiments. Yes my boy, history can be tragic. I have no problems with your view, and wouldn't want to change them.

Saraxanow you misunderstand the man. He is looking at history in a larger time frame, then the seerah of our Nabi scw. Especially the base politics carried out by the leading politicians.

You misunderstood. I couldn't care less about past tragedies. It isn't the acts themselves, but the overall truths that I would rather not delve into. I have no ideals. I would like that untarnished.

Or perhaps you do.

shirib:too many man.starting from the Ummayads to the Ottoman Empire.
They didnt tell me Abdil Malik Ibn Marwan was a blood sucking scholar,or how the Ottoman rulers were playboys with over 500 concubines. They also hided from me Al-hajaaj brought down the kaaba with artillery and the extent of his warlordism and they ommitted the shia were right about Muawiyah and the Karbala day.the biggest shock of all was that the saxaabah used to get knowlege from a woman woman (the daughter of a saxaabi) and used to sit around her in a circle (xalaqah) with uncovered face(just khimaar) something that wouldnt be possible today due to the Saudization of the Deen.
what is wrong with concubines? waa wixii gacanta midigta ku qabatid, laa ba's. alxajaaj and his aggression is well known, he killed sahaba like abdullah ibn zubair (radiyallahu anhum). xitaa salafka qaarkood way gaaleysiiyeen laakin arintaas tafaasiil dheer bey u baahantahay.

what exactly were the shia right about? they were founded by a jewish agent, and they themselves killed ali (radiyallahu anhu). it was Hasan (whom the shia revere so much that they claim he is eternally free from error) who even gave muawiyah the ameership of the khilafa.

all the generations after the sahaba were filled with many rulers who caused difficulty and injustice. but as long as shariah was applied then obedience is waajib. this is why so many hadeeths were reported where we are ordered to obey our leaders. with that said, you should refrain from insulting bin marwaan, he died as a muslim ruler and Allah is his judge.

and the sahaba/tabi'een seeking knowledge from a woman is not something unknown. Aisha (radiyallahu anhumaa) use to teach many of her contemporaries whether male or female. this was because knowledge was sacred at the time and valued more, she was the most authorative narrator of hadeeth after abu hurairah, infact some say she was more important than abu huraira because she spent time with the prophet (salalahu alayhi wasalam) in his personal moments within the household etc. and btw this doesnt mean the sahaba/tabieen did not observe the etiquettes of gaining knowledge and in no way suggests they were inconsiderate with treating the opposite gender.
