Don't take it sis. Allah's rizq is plenty. Just this week I was offered $800 from sources not so halal wallahi I thought about it. At the end I refused even thu I really needed it and the NEXT DAY wallahi no joke I got offered $700 halal money. So the point is u don't know where Allah's rizq will come from. Everything is a test so wait patiently and inshallah u will find a more halal option somewhere u wouldn't expect. Like I did. :D
offered to do what?
no bull

U must take the job to stay afloat. Carrying your weight is a fundamental religious deed u need to perform. Remember nobody else is going to pay for your debt.
This advise is good if you are scared of the job because you will be serving pork.

This advise is terrible if you are going to be a stripper

qoraxeey unless you say the kind of job it is, it is hard to give any advise.

Actually that is never good advice. I bet if you ask a sheikh he would say risq comes from God and you should never partake in haram business.

that is true rizq does come from allah. But lets say your cousins mom and dad just died in somalia. They need fast help. And you decided to work in a hotel that served pork and alcohol even though you are not serving it. And your local majid sheekh tells you not to work their while he makes 100,000 a year(true story). I would smack this sheekh and support my cousins and look for a more halaal job on the side.

Im goin thru a hard time econmically. And Im thinking about getting a job where they do haraam and awful thing.

We're very curious now. In addition, how a young girl living with her parents and is a full time student goes through tough 'economic times' is beyond me.

Mcali that's different, I personally might take a non-halal job but I wouldn't tell another person it's okay to. Let your sins be enough, why take on the burden of misrepresenting Islam?

This is why this thread should be in the Islam section. Why is Qoraxeey asking us when we have no Islam knowledge?

There is a difference between islamic knowledge and human experience knowledge. No matter what sheekh you go to he will tell you find another job( I've been through this shit) . But who has more knowledge a person who thinks about this situation hypothetically or a person who has been through this situation and came out alive. She can easily get a straight forward fataw but now she needs the point of view of someone who has been where she might go

sxb you should go to a trusted sheekh who has experience in dealing with the situation.
