no. don't take it. explore other options before you even consider such move and make ducaa to allah to lessen your pain.

i went through some tough time in the past but i never, even a second, pondered about taking haram jobs.

Im goin thru a hard time econmically. And Im thinking about getting a job where they do haraam and awful thing. But I will not be doing those things even thou i work there. Should I take this job? For the sake of money

I used to work for this company whose clients did not know they were clients.

My job was to convince them to stay and offer them a bunch of bullshit (they thought legit) incentives to stay for just a little bit longer, and by then they'd probably forget and keep shedding mad $ to the company.

With my moral ambiguity and amazing propensity to lie and exaggerate, I turned out to be one of the more ruthless associates. Suffice to say, I was ballin for a good minute.

that is true rizq does come from allah. But lets say your cousins mom and dad just died in somalia.They need fast help. And you decided to work in a hotel that served pork and alcohol even though you are not serving it. And your local majid sheekh tells you not to work their while he makes 100,000 a year(true story). I would smack this sheekh and support my cousins and look for a more halaal job on the side.

When I see some of these "shaykhs" pull out with their bank loan cars, and questionably purchased homes, or have wives around the world... and then turn around and tell us taking government loans for education or working in a supermarket as a part time job is haraam, makes me want to throw up. No exaggeration.

Mcali that's different, I personally might take a non-halal job but I wouldn't tell another person it's okay to. Let your sins be enough, why take on the burden of misrepresenting Islam?
