Who are Salafi people ? and why are their marriages an issue

So i been reading throu that topic

i dont understand whats wrong with salafi people ??

they are also our muslim brothers ..just like the shia ..and sufi ...etc etc

i grow up learning islamic studies and happened to have islamic scholars backgrounf as granpa and father and uncles. the thing is ; every one can claim to be part of group , in this case asalaf. which if i understand correctly are: followers of a salaf as saleh. first generations of muslims(we should all be followers of them, as they ones pass us all that knowledge). i grow up more of traditional islamic household which is we dont hold much for names but the knowledge and conduct!

the look and look my beard is longer and my dashdasha is shorter, and grouping is not my cup of tea.
