It was the DAROOD who opposed drilling in the 1980s in nonDarood areas like Hobyo, Afgoye, Wajid, Ceeldheere etc

Dude nobody would waste money and time on setting up a oil rig if there is no oil. Research was done long time ago, and I must say Daarood nation will be richer than Fat Saudis. 8-)

The drilling is taking place in dharoor meel la yidha i think the osman mahamuud clan lives there

the contract will be renewed every 3-4 years, currently puntland will be receiving 55 % of the oil money
