a weather related service interruption caused my internet to go down for the past three hours and it seemed like 3 days went by
i was pacing around the room nervously, checking and rechecking my modem every few minutes and making a bunch of expletive laden phone calls to my internet provider
they give me three weeks of credit to get me to stop calling

I think they put a 'cheap skate' notation on my account because they don't put me on promotions anymore. theyre like 'sir, we're not able to offer you any promotions at this time' and threatening to cancel doesn't work on them no more

Threats no longer works, it used to be "Yh Qwest offered me a better deal a mind boggling record low $9.99 for 6 months...can u match it since I value Comcast?" agent: "let's see what I can do...well it looks like we have a promotional deal of $19.99 in ur area" me: "I'LL TAKE IT!!!!!"

Now they want you to cancel and return their equipment! but I found a loophole in my ever quest for cheap service.

Go ahead and cancel the service but keep the equipment for few days, you will get a letter in the mail with Huge letters from Xfinity.

"WE WANT YOU BACK....PLEASE CALL THIS NUMBER AND ASK THEM ABOUT THIS SO AND SO DEAL"
