There's a line bro. And you just took a dump on it.
  maskiin.

I remember when it all went wrong, around the first journey of faith conference mashaAllah it became popular to be a hijabi, the more girls who wore a hijab the more girls were pressured to do it. It stopped becoming faith and started becoming fashion. -_-

I'm all for choice. No one should be forced to wear anything against their will.

But I'm real big on ones 'actions should match their clothing' especially regarding those who wear modest Islamic clothing such as the jilbaab, niqaab and even abayaad.
There's too many female in the west *the UK* who are dressed in full blown Saudi jilbaabs *the real baggy ones* yet they scream and jump around like mad women when they are on public transport or hanging out with their mates in the streets or some lounge. Its actions like this that downgrade the value of Islamic garments. I sure have lost respect for the jilbaab. The jilbaab is pretty much a fashion statement in the UK now.. :|

all I know is that somalis make the biggest deal about a woman's dress. but all that modesty goes out the window during a wedding .

Second photo looks pretty disgusting imo. The Prophets(pbuh) wives were unique in that they were explicitly required to wear the niqab to distinguish other women. There is absolutely no mandate, or even recommendation, to wear the niqab.

Walahi if I was ever PM of Somalia, I will ban niqab for good, this backward and unenlightened practice needs to be thrown back to the Arabian peninsula where it belongs.

Look, Women have got the freedom to wear what ever they like, it is non of ur biz besides the PM of Somalia will have more challenging things in his plate than niqab.
