"Despite a long history of unsuccessful exploration, the oil companies are investing in Kenya," says Mwendia Nyaga, managing director of the National Oil Corporation of Kenya. "The question is not if any hydrocarbon deposits exist, but where they are."

There were oil field maps made by American oil companies during the MSB era that showed oil fields in central Somalia, Afgooye, Bakool, and offshore sites between Marka & Kismaayo.

this is not the puntland oil here we are discussing the offshore oil from kismaayo to madagascar. this is the oil which in size can rival that of the entire middle east.

We're civilized and know how to make money together...if we were animals, PL would've ceased to function for the last 14 years. As for sharing the oil money, we're gonna definitely share it...amongst ourselves

this one was made by russian sub in the cold war to close the oil flow from the gulf states towards the west incase a war ever broke out.
