Well, Hitler sounds to be nearer to Osama bin Laden than Zapatero. Both Hitler, Osama and Isabella hate the jews in an extreme point. Hence: Inquisition, Concentration Champs and all that are more hitlerian, catholic and guantanamo. The beheadings of innocent people by Al Qaeda fanatics don't seem to be much different to the hangings of muslims by christians. All them, barbaric acts. Know what? Only fanatic christians, fanatic muslims and fanatic barbarians, hitlerians, had fun on them.
You were watching a documentary about islam in Spain... Good. You should must know, then, that the muslim philosophers were ones of the most advanced muslim or philosopher all over the world. They could be called today "Nietzscheans", because they analized the root of the word "Allah", they reached to the conclussion that Allah couldn't have morals, or at least, the morals of human being: justice, evil, good, etc. They reached, and I'm talking about the 13th century, that Allah was not a WHO, meaning some kind of God with human values. Great: For them, Allah was a WHAT. Like a stone, a wave of the sea, a star, a kind of sun. No personality. No simphathy in Allah. For them, Allah was just the laws that make the Universe to go round.
What happened to these philosophers, Ibn Arabi, etc? They were execrated from Islam and considered "crazy people", unfidels, disbelievers and all that shit.
Why? Because they were open-minded people. There's must be some hadith in which, someday, Muhammad tried to explain the way the Universe was working. Suddenly, he found a start and wanted that the followers of Islam to understand how great Allah was. So he pointed his finger to an star. Instead watching this star, the "muslim followers" looked at Muhammad's finger. Then he said: "When a wise man is trying to show a star, the fools watch at the wise man finger". And he left off.
In Al-Andalus, and that's the reason Islam was so brilliant, architects, doctors, navigators were so brilliant that everyone in Europe, Venecians, Germans, had to come here to learn Arabic, to read Arabic books and to understand Al Quran which, by the way, it was great great book. You only need to come to Granada and you'll be able to read it in every wall in my city.
But what happened? Islam, suddenly, mainly to the Inquisition by Catholic Kings, felt really deteriorated. Failed. It went wrong. Stopped in the times. Wahabism appeared, and wahabism is the worst expression of Islam. It's the disease of Islam. It's the cancer of Islam.
Instead improving Islam like in the old times, instead making it a benefit religion for the whole human kind, instead bringing philosophers or astronauts, insteand bringing here science, which was alway encouraged by Muhammad... What's Islam today?
Girls copying and pasting hadiths the whole day long?
Countries with a Though Police?
Women unable to drive cars?
People beheading people because they're homosexuals?
Think for a second. Just think for a second if Muhammad could live today, in this world, and he could see what's been doing in the name of Islam or in the name of the Prophet.
Do you really think that Muhammad would aprobe the beheading of non-muslims? Do you think he would support you in the name of Islam? Do you really think that he would be on your side?
I think not.
For me, Muhammad is not a prophet, but a human being. But, even non muslim, I'd find this attitudes as wild, disgusting and cruel.
I don't imagine Muhammad having pleasure in the name of Allah at a beheading...
