Military has held power since 1952. Getting rid of one man doesn't change anything

What's your solution then? A coup d'état and then call the people AQ? fukin Americans will never be happy unless it's Seculars or controllable dictators in charge. Mind yo own business uncle Tom and let the Egyptians govern themselves.

A real revolution takes over a decade. Look at how long it took the Americans to even come up with the constitution, they declared independence in 1776 it was finally ratified June 21, 1788. That's 12 years.

Look at these Arabs; they have it good compared to Sub Saharan Africans. Egypt has one of the highest obesity in Africa yet their 80 millions strong people live on the Nile alone. There are no food or water shortages in Egypt yet they have least resources than most African states. Egypt is an upper middle income economy and GDP is greater than most SS African states. Their living conditions exceed most SS Africans. And do better in most social indicators.
Give me Mubarak over any other SS African leader any day

I read an article the other day which quoted papa Hosni's lawyer, it said he said that papa Hosni is still the president since he never signed a written resignation, i love lawyers sense of humor.

Idle hands are the devil's workshop.
Maybe mubarak should have had them all on treadmills and working in hard manual labour.

Obviously the status quo has changed. The military will not rule forever. Having an active and conscious public and elected parliament is a whole lot different than the stagnation they were in a year ago in which Gamal Mubarak was dictator in waiting. Look at Indonesia for a recent example. Overthrew Suharto transitioned towards elections, and their economy is growing. They still have challenges, but many positives as well. Same with Egypt. Give it time.

Within a year people have freed themselves from fear, a year ago it was unimaginable to call Mubarak names now it is so refreshing to hear people speak their mind. Egypt is heading in the right direction

Egypt is directed to the wrong direction, these protestors deserve to be shot at for disrupting peace and harmony. I hope the Military takes stricter actions against these Brotherhood troublemakers/ secular.
