It is just hard to argue any of the starting 11 Barca players is not the best in their position except Valdes who I think is the worst keeper in the world and Mascherano who doesn't deserve to be in that team.

Busquets style complements the way Barcelona play, and he plays excellently. He's composed when on the ball, has great control, technique (rarely concedes or loses the ball) and passing skills allowing him to add to the flow of Barcelona tikka have, and this is what Guardiola wants as it suits his strategy and football philosophy. He is a true player of this type of total football Barcelona employs, his style and play is synchronised with the flow and movement Barcelona have. Lastly he moves well around the pitch, has rapid and good awareness and can pull of good long passes, though nowhere as good as Iniesta and Xavi, still good for a player in his position.

Good points you made there. Busquets is more effective than Yaya for Barca because he is a product of their youth academy. The style of Barca suits his game. But take Busquets out of Barca and he will never be as good as Yaya.

I agree. Yahya is the type that can fit into any team as his play is standard football so he can adapt also to any team, but Busquets only really fits into Barcelona and his position is also exact and perfect. He doesnt need the strength and aggression that DFM are known for like Makelele and Essien, Busquets is required to have that as the entire team pressures with him at any occasion, like i said his position complements the way Barcelona play.
