It would be because it was the protest that marked beginning of the end for the colony, there was two of them on that day and the guys of the SYL were at one and she died in the other one.Xaawo taako was a real women i saw an interview of two men who were at the protest where she died i believe she was killed at the Italian embassy.
Wasn't the protest before the first Somali government in 1960??

Don't know.but I do know that the people that died for SL didn't

There was not much know about her and if i remember correctly it wasnt even her name but she was a symbol of the women who took part of the struggle. The video gave a lot of details of what happened during the day, ill post if i see it inshallahIt would be because it was the protest that marked beginning of the end for the colony, there was two of them on that day and the guys of the SYL were at one and she died in the other one.
Cool wa garta, the embassy bit through me off. Its a shame we know her name but not much about her story and the event that topic place on that day. Illahaay ha unaxaristo

I don't get it when you somalia sympathizers never see the picture, if someone bombarded , raped and killed your people resorting to their biggest town to be empty (hargeisa) would you sit back or would you do something about it?, SNM waged a just war and Allah was on their side , you can see that by how Somaliland prevailed and how Somalia fell down into the depths of war and poverty. It would be because it was the protest that marked beginning of the end for the colony, there was two of them on that day and the guys of the SYL were at one and she died in the other one.

Waa markii ugu horeysey oo aan ku maqlo taaariikhda halyey Xuseen Hanoolaato iyo halyeeyad Xaawo Taako inay isku dhaxeen ama is qabeen. Cabdirizaqow, walaalow, xageed ka akhrisay sheekadaan? Majiraan qof ka mid ah dadka Soomaliyeed ee halkaan isugu yimaada oo noo xaqiijinkara inay taariikh ahaan run tahay sheekadan iyo in kale?Xaawo Taaako; waxaay aheyd Marwo Soomaaliyeed oo ka mid ka mid ahaa hormood kacdoonkii Hanoolaato ee ka dhacay meelo badan oo ka mid ah Soomaaliya 1940s.
Waxaa aheyd Gabar Soomaaliyeed (Bartire) oo safka hore kaga jirtay kacdoonkaas, Xaamilo ama uur laheyd markii falaarta wadnaha looga dhuftay waxaana qabay sida la ii sheeggay hogaamiyigii kacdoonkaas Sheekh Xuseen Cali Hanoolato (Wagardhac) waxaana haleelay falaar ay soo gameen koox pro Italian ah ama taageersana Talyankii oo ku shirbaysay laajada Caliyaalo ama Aadan yabaal, waa sida ay ii xaqiijiyeen dad halkaay goob joog ka ahaa maalintaas.

Your logic is terribly flawed, and try not to bring Allah and speak for him in manners like thisI don't get it when you somalia sympathizers never see the picture, if someone bombarded , raped and killed your people resorting to their biggest town to be empty (hargeisa) would you sit back or would you do something about it?, SNM waged a just war and Allah was on their side , you can see that by how Somaliland prevailed and how Somalia fell down into the depths of war and poverty. It would be because it was the protest that marked beginning of the end for the colony, there was two of them on that day and the guys of the SYL were at one and she died in the other one.

That well might be the case Executive, but killing civilians wasn't the policy of the SNM unlike the regime of AfwayneThe solution is not killing innocent civilians, wrong is wrong. I acknowledge everything wrong the army did, unacceptable, they killed their own people. SNM also killed civilians, every somali person knows that. If don't believe me, you go read the reports of unhcr, human right watch etc.
