I used to run this really successful satire blog that got thousands of hits everyday but I had to shut it down because I couldn't afford hosting and some dumb people who took me seriously started sending death threats.

you don't pay because yours is hosted free on blogspot, i used a paid blogging platform
i made around 100$ a month off adsense for a while but google pulled the plug on that because some cunt reported me for "objectionable content"
