I think it's bidah to celebrate it because there is a hadith which says that the Muslims have 2 eids. We're not supposed to have more than those.

We don't celebrate it, the prophet pbuh did not celebrate it, and after his death, the Sahaba, Tabi`een, Atba-ut-Tabi`een did not celebrate it either.

I heard that the prophets uncle gets some relieve/is taken out of hell on Mondays because thats the day the prophet was born and he was happy about it or something! and if this is true nothing is wrong with celebrating :up:

Although my family is not aqawaan or anything like i've not seen/heard anyone talk about mowliid :|

Yes, it is . Sufis go out to grocery stores and buy balloons and ribbons and hang that around their mosque while having a dance party. I kid you not...
