So to help you understand the relevance of the transubstantiation comment, we need to go back to my earlier question. Define baraka for us, and what baraka does for the individual.

I'm sorry Sadeboi, but there is no such thing as anything close to transubstantiation in Islam, or as a matter of fact all the denominations of christianity other than Catholicism. I do not even see anything similar to the catholic ritual other than the fact that they are in a single file line, and the shaykh is holding the container, and they go up one by one to kiss it if they so choose. Other that superficial form, which I believe anyone who wants some kind of order would do, I see no doctrine being expounded in this video. So please just dismiss that claim, as rightfully you should.

As for Baraka being attained from this, that again is not being made clear in this video. We have absolutely no idea what the beliefs of these people are, as I pointed out there is no doctrine being expounded in this video. So, that is another topic altogether, the baraka you mentioned is not even in the video title. So where did you get it from, other than the title of the thread, made by Fah. This baraka you are speaking of, I suggest you go to Fah, and ask him where he got that idea from.

@PO: I've never seen nor heard any hadith from the Prophet (PBH) saying we have to use his remains as a tabaruk, but on the other hand, I saw a hadith where he's advising us, Muslims, not to make his grave a worship place like those before us did.

What if I prove to you that it is permissible, by bringing just a hadith where a sahabi used a remains of the rasul as tabruk? Will you then change your opinion?

Can you link a hadith where the Rasuul (SAW) says it's permissible for us, Muslims, to use his hair, turbans, clothing or any other remains of his as a tawasul/tabaruk?

I'm only in the ones I happen to believe there is nothing wrong with the topic, but people all of a sudden jump the gun and start throwing all kinds of negative remarks. Otherwise I don't really participate.

I don't think it's about proving my point. Take this topic for example, most people had an adverse reaction to any veneration of the prophet's scw hair (whether real or not), some even likened it to shirk, some went so far as likening it to a crazy catholic doctrine, and some just called it crazy. Where did they get these ideas from, it was from already held prejudices against 'sufi's' and mysticism. And they criticized such actions.Why do they have a negative reaction or repulsion to anything that resembles 'sufism' or mysticism? Now that I have brought proofs from hadiths in Bukhari and Muslim, I hope that they will reflect on why their first reaction was so critical. I also want them to be more careful in condemning, because that thing you may be condemning out of your own ignorance, and prejudices, could very well be an estabilished sunnah. And it is not right to condemn a sunnah. All I wanted was to say was be more careful.
