Im gonna ask this question to a imam / sheikh in my family

Women may earn their own money but men still spend money on their wives and children. Although a woman is able to work it is better for her to stay home and look after her children. Any money she earns is hers and she is not Islamically required to spend on anyone but herself. Having said that, there has to be a leader in every situation. Even when travelling their has to be an amir/leader. The man is the head of the household. Men and women are not considered equal in terms of strength or what they can offer at a place of work. That is why there is no such thing as equal pay.
