The language Eritreans speak has many arabic words in it
Is it so, or am i delusional?
It is because of the semitic tongue which Tigrigna and Arabic Share, Like somali sharing alot words with Afar as well. Plus the formula of Tigrigna is unique Ge'ez + Kushtic languages (Saho/afar+Beja) with an arabic added Accent/words due to the Creators of Tigrigna been Bilingual In Beja and arabic. when all know when you speak 2 languages perfectly accent would effect your tongue in the long Run. That is why Tigrigna has an arabic Influence its the prints left off By the belew Beja when Creating the language 1300 Years ago. Since Tigrigna is a mix and Influence of 4 Languages its base is limitless Unlike say amharic, Tigrigna is also the only semitic language with a cushtic Grammer so the Creators really Create A unique Language. Tigrigna was made as a unifying language as at the time In eritrea you could go to a town and 4-5 languages were spoken Tigrigna means Language of the Tigre People who are of agazians descendants who today are of saho/beja/Tigre Including todays Kebessa Tigrigna people of Eritrea and few arabs semites who lived In eritrea basically a unifying language for Eritrean People.
If you Ever were to Learn Tigrigna and you speak somali and Arabic you would Feel there is something about Tigrigna which isn't a shoot off from a mother language Rather its Created or manufactured from many languages Kushtic and semitic.
