It all comes down to culture. The Taiwanese have a strong work ethic and are very intelligent due to the emphasis of education during the younger years. They are able to be so advanced economically and even technologically due to their education and strong work ethic. Africans, to put it bluntly, are lazy and don't value education. You need to appreciate education and appreciate the concept of hard work to move forward.

The Taiwanese are just like the South Koreans; no natural resources whatsoever but they are among the richest in the world. Goes to show you you don't need an drop of oil or an ounce of gold to make you rich.

However, Africa is blessed with natural resources but they are the poorest of the poor. Goes to show you that you can have all the oil and gold and natural resources in the world but that doesn't mean squat.

You dont appreciate education and hard work ethic and you will be where are you forever. Somalis, sadly are the same. People like the noble Taiwanese don't have these irrelevant clan and north/south babble talk. They are smarter than that. They use their time to develop themselves and their country. Somalis should learn from Taiwan.
