wallahi we have two spectrums of unrealistic people here  did I really hear 2.5 k and 25k? bismillah, and its from all the same people who cant stop talking about marriage. It figures
lol, so wait, who opened this thread?
I dunno, if only there was an easy way to find out like check the first page of the thread.
Demanding an expensive wedding is an initial red flag. Some way women talk about independance, but dont bat an eye lid asking a man to spend 20k on a wedding. I advised both my sisters that got married to be humble in their demands and ask only what you could afford yourself.
 whats ur max price?

Nanees, abayo, you will see, people say one thing now, but then other factors influence them to do another, do you have an older sister that got married already?

A small aroos has much more kheyr and baraka than an xpensive one, and it will probably last longer.

BULLSHIT!!! My parents had a wonderful wedding in xanar cadey...Nuur Eebo was singing at their wedding. We still have pictures!!!! And they been married for over 25 years and still going strong
Its a fact and besides expensive weddings will haunt u for months or years to come with financial burdens. Its best to be wise on your wedding day and invest in the future of your marriage instead. Why spend so much of your money on just one day of your life? When you can put a down payment for a house (the halal way of course), buy a car or maybe two of them and the list goes on .

Alphanumeric,

Most non mixed weddings still have the groom and a couple of grooms men present, so yes i'd pay for it.

Kalia, I guess you are right. But on the real though, I would only ask for it if he can afford. I
Wouldn't mind having a wedding like that :)
