Waa official the flight will Leave Istanbul at 22:15 and land in Khartoum at 03:20 and than depart to Mogadishu at 04:10 and land in Xamar 07:00 AM. :clap:

There is another route going to be available for Scandinavia according to Turkey. So Somalis in Scandinavia will not have to go through Khartoum :clap:

This is a nice development on the services side of things.

But inshallah in the future I hope we will have our flagship carrier as well as other new airlines.

Turkish Airlines to Start Somalia Service from Mar 2012

Turkish Airlines starting 06MAR12 is launching service to Somalia, where it’ll offer 2 weekly Istanbul – Khartoum – Mogadishu service on board Boeing 737-800.

Overall service to Khartoum, capital of Sudan, will increase from Daily to 9 weekly as a result. However TK does not have local traffic rights on Khartoum – Mogadishu sector.

Schedule from 25MAR12:

TK686 IST2315 – 0320+1KRT0410+1 – 0700+1MGQ 738 24
TK687 MGQ0800 – 1100KRT1150 – 1600IST 738 35 :mrgreen:

I heard this last month but the guy sellin us the ticket said it was running only for a month :| so is only one month or more?

Maya Walaashis waa permanent because i have access to Amadeus which is the airline booking system and it shows flights even in December 2012.
